Our nets are made with World Health Organisation (WHO) approved mosquitonetting standards which has the right size and number of holes per square metre to prevent mozzi access. Within this we have a Standard and Robust netting. Muslin, linen and other sheers are also available on request.
Similar to bed sheets with an optional 200 or 300 percale thread count, netting is graded according to its weight or thread count/square meter. Premium Netting has double the thread count to the Standard Netting and this positively affects its durability. Standard Netting – 38gsm & Premium Netting – 70gsm. GMS refers to Grams per Square Meter (g/m2) of netting i.e. the weight of one square meter of fabric in grams. NOTE: A lighter gsm will generally not last as long or be as strong over time compared to a heavier gsm.
Our bamboo frames are a natural product and supplied in their natural form only.
Our timber frames are available in a natural finish or painted white, antique, flax, charcoal or stained dark. Choice of frame colour is usually determined by timber colours in bedroom eg headboard, bed-side tables etc
We supply white or ivory cotton cord, jute (hessian colour) as well as stainless steel, black or clear line. Cotton cord is generally used with ceiling board and jute with thatch or wooden ceilings. When you confirm what type of ceiling you have, we supply correct hardware for installation purposes for concrete, timber, rhino board, thatch, exposed trusses. Polystyrene ceilings complicate installation.
We do offer an installation service which is charged at a daily rate plus travel costs ex Stanford or Nelspruit. We send installation instructions with the net which are simple for your local DIY Handyman to follow.
