Conservation at the heart of best practice
This month we celebrate the power of small changes in fostering a healthier world.
With World Conservation Day on July 28th, we are reminded of the profound impact every individual action has and we are committed to doing our best to protect the Earth wherever possible. As an environmentally conscious company, Kiwinet celebrates the power of innovation and responsibility, especially when it comes to reducing waste and promoting a healthier planet.
Kiwinet has always championed sustainability through up-cycling, re-purposing and re-using to minimise waste. Our commitment is evident in every aspect of our operation: from using selvedge’s for binding our nets to packaging hardware in netting bags and crafting food net covers and beloved fairy skirts all made from fabric off-cuts. Even frame off-cuts are utilised for kindling.
The recent spike in Malari sparked us to pull out all stops. Recognizing this urgent demand, we repurposed netting with minor imperfections—still effective against mosquitoes—and provided basic mosquito nets to lodges for their staff, striving to protect as many lives as possible. Ensuring your staff’s health and well-being is paramount to us, understanding that a successful business thrives on a strong and healthy workforce.
We invite you to join us on our journey toward a sustainable future. Whether by supporting eco-conscious businesses or making small lifestyle changes, every effort counts. Together, we can make a positive impact on our planet and inspire others to do the same.
