It’s Tourism Month
September is Tourism Month and a sublime time of the year to go out and explore our glorious country. For many adventurous travellers, sleeping under a billowing mosquito net while gazing at the stars on the African Plains is a long held romantic dream.
Thousands of holiday makers visit our shores every year to enjoy the experience of game reserves in remote locations. Locations where mosquitoes are bound to be found. Kiwinet design and manufacture a product aimed directly at these tourists. By producing not only functional, but incredibly beautiful mosquito nets, we enhance each and every tourists’ stay by ensuring they experience the quintessential African Safari as well as protecting lives every day.
Our diaphanous creations enable tourists to sleep peacefully, free from the irritating buzz of mozzies and without the harmful use of poisonous sprays, safe from inhaling chemicals while they rest.
We celebrate Tourism Month to highlight South Africa’s diverse tourism offerings as well as the sector’s significant contribution to the local economy and job creation. Kiwinet would not be where we are today without this symbiotic relationship we have with the tourism & hospitality trade.
World Tourism Day is celebrated on 27 September 2023 and this year the celebration theme is: “Tourism invests in a green future“. In line with this years’ theme, Kiwinet is proud of the fact that as a company, our green philosophy is a no-landfill one. We recycle and/or find a way to re-use every bit of scrap fabric, packaging material and all carpentry off-cuts.
Together we can make a difference!
If you can dream it, Kiwinet can make it.
