We don’t mind putting it out there! Kiwinet Mosquito Nets is unashamedly ethical. And we’re proud of it!
As an innovative manufacturer that both designs and distributes the finest mosquito nets for the luxury lodge hospitality sector (globally) as well as private residential and government tender sectors, we feel it’s our duty to exercise good business practice against the production of waste.
Of course, we are extremely proud of the fact that we save lives (Malaria remains the number one contributor towards the death rate across Sub Saharan Africa) while at the same time, transforming bedroom spaces into sublime sleep sanctuaries.
During our mosquito net manufacturing process, we are mindful of waste and vehemently against contributing towards landfill sites. All off-cuts and scrap are reserved and repurposed for use in the manufacture of our kids range of Tee Pees, Fairy Skirts, POP Bags (for fresh produce grocery shopping or laundering of delicates), and of course, net packaging itself.
Even the local Big Cat Sanctuary in Stanford is forever grateful for the enrichment toys created by their volunteers for their big cats made from our donated empty fabric roll cardboard tubes.
There’s always another use for scrap.
